About Me

bausd

I graduated with Distinction and an MD from the State Medical School of Nangarhar in Afghanistan in 2000. After moving to the UK, I began my surgical training in Norfolk in 2004. I completed the Intercollegiate Exams of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009 and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Scientific Urology from University College London in 2012.
My early urology training took place at Peterborough City Hospital, and I successfully completed the FRCS (Urol) examination in 2015. The following year, I was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at King’s College Hospital in London. During my time there, I undertook advanced training in renal laparoscopy under Professor Sriprasad and further developed my skills in laser prostate surgery, including training in Germany. I also received paediatric urology training at Great Ormond Street Hospital under leading consultants.
After more than a year at King’s, I returned to the North West Anglia NHS Trust and took up my current position as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Peterborough City Hospital.
